Precision-engineered systems customized for the Slovakian market to ensure seamless operations, compliance with EU directives, and rapid return on investment.
As a core industrial powerhouse in Central Europe, Slovakia is witnessing rapid growth in food processing, medical supplies, and consumer electronics assembly. With rising labor costs across industrial hubs like Bratislava, Trnava, Nitra, and Košice, manufacturing lines require reliable, automated packaging equipment that can run continuous shifts with minimal operator intervention. Our horizontal flow wrappers are built to resolve this local labor challenge by replacing manual processes with automated primary packaging systems that deliver high speed and structural reliability.
Additionally, modern European regulations demand absolute sustainability and safety. Slovakia’s stringent alignment with European Union environmental initiatives requires machinery that can dynamically process paper-based films, biodegradable compostable films, and traditional high-barrier polymers with minimal waste. The local market demands precise sealing control to protect consumer health while maintaining competitive operating costs.
Henan Collins Machine Co., Ltd. was established in 2015. From day one, the company has focused on designing and manufacturing end-to-end automated packaging solutions. With 20 national invention patents, Collins demonstrates a decade of technical expertise in integrated systems including labeling, filling, capping, coding, sealing, and shrink-wrapping for a wide range of industries.
In our 5,000 m² state-of-the-art facility, more than 80 skilled engineers and technicians support advanced production and assembly capabilities. The company operates automated coating, slitting, and quality-control lines to ensure precision and reliability across all equipment and consumables. Certified under ISO 9001, SGS, and RoHS standards, Henan Collins Machine Co., Ltd. is committed to delivering high-performance packaging machinery that meets global OEM and contract packaging requirements.
We specialize in the development, production, and sales of labeling machines, filling machines, packaging machines, thermal transfer coders (TTO), ribbon coders, ink roller coders, laser coders, and other coding equipment. We also provide a full range of consumables, including TTO ribbons, ink ribbons, ink rollers, carbon ribbons, and label paper. This integrated product portfolio supports industries such as food, daily chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and more, offering a complete one-stop packaging solution.
Quality is built inside. By keeping critical mechanical parts manufacturing and machine testing completely in-house, we control mechanical tolerances down to the micrometer level.
Horizontal Flow Wrappers (often called pillow-pack machines) are crucial in high-speed, continuous-motion packing processes. The raw plastic or paper-based film roll is unreeled, formed into a tube, sealed longitudinally along the bottom edge, and sealed transversely at the ends, separating individual products simultaneously. Implementing this technology requires precise engineering alignment with Slovakian electrical and mechanical codes.
Our Slovak-delivery systems integrate standard industrial multi-axis PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron platforms) utilizing triple servo drives. One servo controls the infeed conveyor, the second controls the film feed, and the third manages the rotary or box-motion end-seal jaw. By removing complex mechanical linkages, gears, and clutches, we dramatically reduce downtime, lower noise levels, and allow recipe changes to occur via a few taps on the touch panel. Changes in product lengths are computed immediately with electronic tracking, avoiding mechanical modifications.
Different materials require different heat treatments. While standard polypropylene (OPP) or high-barrier laminated foils require static heat-sealing rollers, newer biodegradable and paper materials are highly temperature-sensitive. To prevent film burning or seal failure during machine stops, our sealing jaws feature integrated PID temperature controllers that dynamically adjust heat settings based on machine speeds. The addition of air-cooled fins ensures rapid heat dissipation when running thin-gauge compostable substrates.
For Slovakian bakery and sanitary paper converters, cleanroom validation is key. All food and medical-contact surfaces of Collins wrappers are fabricated using SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel. The conveyor chains feature quick-release mechanisms, allowing tools-free sanitation. This design eliminates debris traps, preventing contamination risks in high-output bread, cutlery, and medical packaging facilities.

Importing capital machinery into Slovakia requires strict adherence to European health, safety, and environmental standards. Under the European Economic Area (EEA) rules, all flow wrappers must meet the safety requirements defined in the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. We address these requirements directly in our engineering process:
Collins also guarantees seamless installation in Slovakia. We offer on-site commissioning, integration with existing up-stream conveyors, and full operator training. Our digital support system allows remote connection to your PLC via encrypted channels, ensuring our engineering team can modify code settings or troubleshoot issues without requiring on-site travel.
