How Electromagnetic Induction Sealing Works

An engineering look at how we achieve 100% leak-proof packaging solutions for local and international markets.

The Science Behind the Seal

Induction sealing is a non-contact heating process that seals a metallic inner seal to the lip of plastic and glass containers. The sealing process takes place after the container has been filled and capped.

Our systems generate a controlled, high-frequency electromagnetic field via an induction coil. As the capped bottle passes underneath the coil, the aluminum foil layer of the inner seal liner generates heat due to eddy currents. This heat melts the polymer coating on the foil, which bonds securely to the container's lip as it cools, forming a hermetic seal.

This process is highly efficient, taking only fractions of a second, which allows for seamless integration into high-speed Moroccan packaging lines.

Global Trends & The Future of Smart Packaging

As packaging requirements become more complex, Henan Collins remains at the forefront of engineering innovation.

1. Transition to Eco-Friendly Plastics

With global regulations pushing for post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics, induction sealing provides the necessary structural integrity for thinner-walled and PCR containers, preventing deformation under pressure during transport.

2. Smart and QR-Coded Foils

Moroccan cosmetics and high-value agri-exports like organic Argan oil are incorporating smart QR codes printed directly on the aluminum seal to guarantee authenticity to consumers in the US, EU, and Asian markets.

3. High-Efficiency Air-Cooling Systems

Traditional water-cooled sealers require regular maintenance and risk leaking water into cleanroom facilities. Our advanced air-cooled induction technology offers maintenance-free, continuous operation, reducing downtime to near zero.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical clarifications on importing, implementing, and operating induction sealing systems in Morocco.

Can your induction sealers handle glass jars commonly used for Moroccan olive oil?
Yes, our machines can seal glass bottles and jars. However, glass requires a specific type of liner (foil with a specialized glass-compatible polymer coating) and correct head-pressure settings. We provide customized sealing heads designed to handle wide-mouth and square-shoulder glass jars perfectly.
What electrical specifications are standard, and can they handle Moroccan grid variations?
Our standard machines operate on 220V/110V 50Hz/60Hz, matching Morocco’s domestic grid voltage (220V, 50Hz). For industrial lines, we incorporate internal power stabilizers to prevent voltage fluctuations from affecting sealing consistency, ensuring a uniform seal during production peaks.
How do you guarantee import and customs clearance compliance into Morocco?
All our machinery complies with standard European import regulations. We hold CE, ISO 9001, SGS, and RoHS certifications. We supply all commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificate documents required by Moroccan customs (Administration des Douanes et Impôts Indirects) for smooth transit.
What is the typical lead time for delivery to Moroccan ports (e.g., Casablanca or Tangier Med)?
Standard models are kept in stock and can be dispatched within 7–10 days. Customized machines and integrated lines usually take 20–30 days for engineering and testing. Sea shipping to Casablanca Port typically takes between 25 to 35 days.
